The Bucks have had a lot going on this week! We had our first appointment with the doctor this week. We sat down and heard all the do’s and don’ts of being pregnant. Mama Buck got all checked out and everything is good and healthy.
On Wednesday my dad turned 60. What better place to celebrate such a classy age than…HOOTERS!! That’s right, the place that’s known for, what else, their hot wings! Dad was decorated with orange balloons so everyone in the restaurant knew it was his birthday. Here are some pictures from the fun night.
Chris had some time at the party to practice his baby holding skills. It took a lot of persuading to get him to hold her. His response was “It’s not mine, I don’t want to break it!” He eventually did hold the baby and it looks to me like he’s a natural!
We celebrated Independence Day in the Bay area with Chris’s dad. It was a nice, relaxing visit. This is exactly what Chris was looking for after his crazy week at work. On the 4th of July, we spent the day at the Marin County Fair. We checked out the exhibits and ate some good food. The guys played a couple games and we walked home with a blow up dolphin and a stuffed puppy. Here is a picture from our day.
